{I will spare you with the other pics I took, this is the least bloody one I have}
Last night K and I wanted to make just a quick trip to Target. As we were walking, she tripped and her mouth fell into the bottom rack of the shopping cart. OMG if you have ever been through this you know the scream that comes with this. I will NEVER forget the horrific scream that came out of my babies mouth. I turned around to see her face on the ground and a tooth right next to her! After that it was kind of a blur. I somehow grabbed the tooth and put it in my purse? There was a sweet old man who gave us his perfect white soft hanky and I just remember everyone staring at me as I ran out of the store with a SCREAMING baby in 4 inch heels. It seemed like an eternity running to my car. I called hubby but no answer so I text him "911 call me." Then called my mom in hysterics making sure I was supposed to take her to the ER. Then I remember turning around to look at K because she stopped crying {which of course I thought the worse}. Her front right tooth was dangling there, she got frustrated and pulled the darn thing out and threw it down! That's totally my kid. How dare that tooth inconvenience her! Hubby called right after that and met us at the ER. Anyway, we rush to the ER and then as you know, you just wait.....and wait some more and then guess what??? You wait more. Finally we got a room {with more waiting there of course} and had the best pedi, Dr. Patel. He was so great with K! They told us she would need to get stitches and that he has to give her a shot of Novocaine, which will make her scream and we will need to hold her down. I started to sweat and feel like I was going to pass out. These situations are the reason hubby and I are a match made in Heaven. We are total opposites. I'm very high energy and emotional (not crying, just emotional). He is very calm and easy going. Thank the Lord for him. He held K the whole time and I read books and tried to clean up the blood. So we got back to the big room with two Dr's, Patel being one of them. Daddy held her hands and told her how brave she was being and how proud we were of her the whole time and I sat at the end of the bed and rubbed her legs and feet. She cried just a little bit and Dr Patel kept saying, WOW you are the toughest kid I have met. Most adults aren't even this tough and brave. WOW!!! Everyone was amazed that she just layed there so still just like he asked and hardly cried. That's more than I can say for myself at the end of the bed bawling!!!! She is doing ok today, just tired with a big busted lip, two missing teeth and 5 stitches in her lip. We are going to the dentist at 2:00 pm so please say a little prayer there was no internal damage with her teeth. As scary this whole experience was, I'm just glad my baby is ok. It could have been MUCH MUCH worse! She is ok and that's what matters most to me. Her damage is mostly cosmetic (that we know of) and she will always be beautiful to me no matter what! I'm also glad that these are her baby teeth so seeing a 4 year old with missing teeth vs. a 16 year old isn't that bad. Today we are just having lots of cuddle time laying on the couch watching movies.

Our Journey through TTC #2 {deep breaths}
First let me preface by saying I am not pregnant. This has been written over a period of time. I have not been able to push "publish" until now. I have gone back in forth for a very long time on if I want to ever blog about this personal detail in our lives. It IS part of our life. It's real. Miscarriages and infertility do not make up a person, it's not who you are, but it's a daily struggle to keep this in mind and not feel like it's becoming a part of you as a person. This is more for me to get my feelings out and if I can help just one person feel like they aren't alone, then I have done my job. What has helped me the most is talking to people or reading peoples blogs that have been through the same or similar experiences. It really does help you not feel alone sometimes. We started this journey 16 months ago BUT really and truly just 8 months ago {16 months ago I got off BC to "see what happens." 8 months ago I started calculating, testing and charting}. To some that may be a short amount of time {If you have been trying numerous years} but to me it's been a lifetime. I got pregnant with K the first month we tried, had a healthy pregnancy and easy L&D. I guess once you have been through that, you just assume it will be the same with #2, but obviously that is not the case. Although we've been trying for some time,I am fast forwarding to a few months ago...
(I take LOTS of deep breaths as I push publish)
Last Monday I had an appointment with Dr. S. Our appointment was to discuss "family planning." At this point Dr. S. decided it would be best to start a round of clomid because she thought I was not ovulating and we have been trying a while. Quick back story: I have been off birth control for over a year {14 months to be exact but who's counting??} but have REALLY been TTC {charting-BBT,ovulation strips, etc.} for about 6 months. Hubby and I discussed this and decided we would wait a few months and try to continue to do this on our own; after all, it's all in HIS timing, not ours. On Wednesday I got the best news ever: come to find out, Dr. S was wrong...I was ovulating and I AM FINALLY PREGNANT again!!! We are beyond excited. It's still very very early so we won't be telling "everyone" until we make sure everything is ok and we're closer to the 12 week mark. BUT I want to shout it through the rooftop!!! I won't even post this until that time but I have to get it out somehow :) I am due at the end of April. We've been through some tough times already so I appreciate your thoughts and prayers until our sweet baby is safe and healthy in my arms.
8/27/12
Heaven gained another angel today. I started cramping last Saturday and spotting. That spotting kept getting worse as did the cramping. I'm trying hard not to question why but I have to be honest, it's pretty tough. My family, best friends and hubby are amazing but there is no way I could go through this without my Faith. I DO believe everything happens for a reason, I DO have Faith that HE will see me through this. I DO believe we will be blessed with another sweet healthy baby, but today I am sad. Heartbroken. Devastated. My heart hurts so much right now.
9/26/12
It's that time again to start TTC. Part of me is so excited and part of me is so scared out of my mind. "What if" goes through my head all the time. I am a planner. I plan everything, so this whole process is out of my comfort zone; which is actually probably great for me. I have anxiety just thinking about chaos-which to me is anything not planned. Do you see the obsessiveness in that? Is that even a word? Anyway, here we go again...
10/16/12
Oh goodness what a roller coaster. I started cramping a little and spotting this weekend. I was pretty sure AF would come visit yesterday or today but still nada. Sadly, I've been obsessive and have taken many tests in the past two days (ugh, it's even sounds annoying as I type it) and they have all said negative. I'm trying to stay patient but this is just not my strong suit. So we wait...yet again.
10/23/12
I will start by saying I'm not pregnant. I actually had a pretty tough couple of days. I have been feeling nauseous, cramping like never before in the front and my back with just an overall feeling of "ugh." I spoke to my doctor and she said this is a normal recovery process. My body has just been through so much in the last month so it's just out of wack with hormones craziness and it's trying to get back to normal. This did put me more at ease. I've been crying at the drop of a hat {I'm not a crier-hardly ever}, super sensitive and just not my normal cheerful self. I have two close friends who have been through this and they have helped me more than ever. Today I am feeling much better and actually back to feeling like myself again. Thank you Lord for that. Now it's back to TTC yet again. Month #8{16 off BC} here we go! While going through this it has really taught me to just be thankful for the blessings I already have in life. I can not imagine having to go through this and not already having Keegan. As much as it would make me unbelievably sad not to have another baby, it would KILL me not to have one at all. Little girls dream of being a mommy when they are little. I know one day He is going to bless us with another sweet angel. Until then, I am a mommy; to a sweet healthy little girl who thinks I hung the moon! I am so very thankful and blessed for that.
I forgot to add: after my last mc I had to take numerous tests that afternoon to try and determine why I have mc before. After 2 weeks of not patiently waiting and 15 viales of blood later we found out that I have a folic acid deficiency. It's actually very common. BIG problem but easy fix. So since that day, I have taken some folic acid medicine called Folgard. I have to take two a day along with my normal prenantals. Anyone that has known me for a while knows that I have such a hard time taking pills. I've always had this issue but rest assure, I'm a pro now! HA!
PS on a lighter note, I think it's funny that once you start TTC it's acceptable to start discussing.... ssshhhhh, close your ears family "having sex"...with your family and on my personal blog.

Past weekend/Pumpkin Patch 2012
This past weekend was so nice. Friday we played against Seven Lakes, who gave us a small run for our money at the beginning. We ended up winning 38-13. YAY, now we are 7/0 undefeated!!! 3 more games left of the season. I love this pic I took with my iphone right before the sunset (more pics later from this game).
Saturday was so nice and relaxing. Keegan and I ran a few quick errands and hung out around the house (I have been a little under the weather lately). We played outside for a while since it was nice. Then we headed to a pumpkin patch near by. Here is just a few pictures of my sweet blue eyed beauty:
Sunday K and I {Daddy was working-shocker it's football season} went to the later service at Church so we could watch Finley (our good friends, The Opitz's daughter) get dedicated. I just adore this family and am so blessed to have them in our lives. Leah has been very dear to me and I can't ever imagine them moving away (hint hint!). Ok, sorry off topic. And funny, I originally met her on here through blogging! I forget about that sometimes. See, great things can happen from blogging. Anyway, while we were there their first born said the sweetest prayer for me and Leah and I both ended up in tears. God works in great ways. It was so very touching to see a 3 almost 4 year old say such a sweet prayer for me and didn't even think twice about it. She just put her hands together and started to pray. It was a moment I will never forget; so sweet and so innocent...as if I didn't already love Perri enough!

August 10th, 2012
Since I have been MIA from the blog world for a few months I did want to update you on some great news we received. This was my facebook post:
Let me tell you how great our God is...MD Anderson told my dad he would have cancer forever but would be able to maintain it with chemo. After 5 1/2 months of being diagnosed with stage 4 cancer I am SO blessed to say he is in remission!!! My Daddy is literally a walking miracle. I want to thank all of my wonderful friends, friends of friends and family for your support and prayers. People I had never met or even knew of were praying for my Daddy and my family. I can not thank you enough for that. I also appreciate your continued prayers to keep this beast away forever! Praise the Lord! xoxoxo

Boss's Day!
Sad to say, I didn't even know today was Boss's day until last night. I received the sweetest card from a past employee of mine saying "Happy Boss's Day" and how my staff is lucky to have me. Awwwhhh! It made my day. Then today I walked in to my office full of so many goodies. They bought me lunch from my favorite restaurant and my favorite dessert! I am truly blessed to have such a wonderful, caring, hardworking TEAM!
One of my friends sent this to me and gave me a good laugh; I just had to share...
horrible picture of me, you can tell I was crying (sweet card) but it shows some of my goodies and how excited I was. Happy Day to all of the boss's out there! We work so hard, but at the end of the day, we could not do it without great staff members.

October 15th
"Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day is a day of remembrance for pregnancy loss and infant death, which includes but is not limited to miscarriage, stillbirth, SIDS, or the death of a newborn. It is observed annually in the United States and Canada and, in recent years, in the United Kingdom and in the Australian State of New South Wales,[1] on October 15.
The day is observed with remembrance ceremonies and candle-lighting vigils, concluding with the International Wave of Light, a worldwide lighting of candles at 7:00 p.m."
I hate that this day even exist! Unfortunately I am observing this day not only for many of my friends and their angels, but also for us and ours. Everyone has their own story and struggle, some have suffered this one time or even numerous times, but regardless, it's hard. It's sad. It sucks! My prayers are with all of the families who have had or are still dealing with this loss. XOXOFriday, October 12, 2012

I'm obsessed!!!
Seriously, I know I am about 5 years late but I am so obsessed with the Twilight saga. So many of my friends have tried to get me to read the books and watch the movies. Honestly I'm more of a reality person. Hubby says I don't "make believe" very well. If I don't think it could happen in real life then I usually am not interested. For example Star Wars...that's just all around ridiculous! I DVR'd Twilight a while back and never watched it. Well, last week we were getting our sprinkler system installed and the guys accidently cut our cable wires. The only thing we could watch was DVR so hubby said ok I guess we can watch Twilight since there is nothing else on. We BOTH (yes Hubby too but please don't tell him I told you) LOVED it! We (ok I was a little more excited than him) could not wait to watch the others. We celebrated our 7 year anniversary on Saturday (it's actually today which will be another post) and hubbs said we could do anything I wanted...GUESS what I decided??? That's right! Twilight marathon night baby (after dinner and ice cream of course)!!! OMG, if you have not watched these...I'm sure I am the only one left on the Earth that has not watched them until now...you must go watch them.like right now. I promise you will not regret it! I am in love with the whole story.
Ugh, my favorite. I think her dress is just stunning!
This I had to post for Hubby. In New Moon I don't think Jacob ever put his shirt on. Hubby kept saying, "seriously? does he ever wear a shirt??" Then in one scene Edward said "does he ever wear a shirt?" We cracked up!
I can not WAIT until November 16th when Breaking Dawn: Part 2 comes out. I'm ready to start reading the books now. I hear those are better than the movies; we'll see.

Pinterest: Get in my belly
Let's face it, Pinterest is wonderful! I know many people pin things and never use them...I am NOT one of those people. I actually try my pinned receipe's, crafts, etc. My most recent pinterest finding was pizza pockets for Keegan's lunch. This receipe is SO easy and SO yummy! (I C&P from the link)
"Ingredients for pizza crust:• 1 cup warm water (110 degrees F/45 degrees C)
• 1 tablespoon white sugar
• 1 packet active dry yeast (.25 oz)
• 2 tablespoons olive oil
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 2 1/2 cups flour (you can use All Purpose flour or wheat flour or a combination of those two)
• Optional - Season to taste. (I like to add in a tablespoon (or two!) of garlic powder, Italian seasoning is great too!)
Directions:
1. Stir warm water, sugar and yeast together until dissolved. Let sit for a few minutes so the yeast has a chance to get bubbly and happy. Add the olive oil and the salt. Stir in the flour until well blended. Dough should be smooth and not overly sticky. You can knead the dough at this point, adding in small amounts of flour if needed to achieve a smooth dough. Leave dough to rest for 10 minutes.
2. lightly dust your working space with cornmeal to prevent sticking (you can use flour, but the cornmeal gives a nice crunch to the crust. I've found that sometimes too much flour residue leaves an icky floury taste to the crust). Gently, using a rolling pin (and your hands!) work the dough out until it is quite thin. The thinner the better!
I am not the best roller-outer. I tend to shy away from a lot of recipes that require the use of a rolling pin. But pizza dough is, as I said before, very forgiving. It's okay if it's not rolled out perfectly. You can use the parts of your rolled out dough that are rolled out well and then re-knead it and roll out again as you go. The dough will become more firm and result in a chewier crust the more you work it, but in my opinion that is not a bad thing when it comes to pizza crust! (unlike, say, sugar cookies!)
* If you have a bread machine you can also make a pizza dough in that. I just follow the basic recipe that is printed in our bread machine manual/cookbook.
** If you don't want to mess with making your own dough or crust at all you may check with your local bakery for dough. Even our Publix will sell fresh pizza dough out of the bakery department. You just have to ask for it and they bag it right up for you!
*** If you want a really super short-cut you can buy pizza dough from the ready-to-go tubes. I'm happy that this pizza crust is free of trans fats. "
And here is mine: SO YUMMY!

The Bachelorette: episode 3
This week I had a little blonde hair blue eyed beauty that wanted to watch with me. Honestly I think she only watched about 5 minutes, which I am A OK with. She played the alphabet game on my ipad next to me for the first 30 minutes before going to bed. Anyway, this week Emily went on a date with Chris first. I think she really likes him and I would have NEVER guessed he is only 25!!! Luke Bryan sang to them on their date, which I loved! He is just adorable...ok back to Chris. He is a top pick for me and seems to be for her as well. He will def be in the final 5 for sure.
Then Charlie, Alejandro, Stevie, Ryan, Alessandro, Sean, John, Michael, Doug, Jef, Tony and Travis are picked for the group date. WOW Alessandro...I mean what can I say about him? An old Gypsy? He loves the single life. Thinks Emily's daughter is a compromise. I'm sorry, why is he on the show again? As much as I love Ryan I did not like his comment about if Emily got fat. While I'm glad he was honest, maybe he was just a little too honest too quick? This date was a nice chance for Emily's good friends to get to know the guys; they picked Doug (shocker) and Sean.
Then Emily picked Arie for the last one on one date which takes place at her favorite place, Dollywood. Yes like Dolly Parton. Interesting place to say the least and wonderful if you love her. Arie is another top pick for me. I think he is #1 on her list for sure. And why wouldn't he be? On to the cocktail party: Stevie didn't get a rose, she let Alessandro go for obvious reasons and told Tony it would be best for him to go since he was missing his son so much. This leaves us with: ((ATTENTION...THE FOLLOWING COULD CONTAIN SPOILERS))
Alejandro: I bet he will be gone next week
Arie: final 2...she loves him already. HA!
Charlie: he will be around a few more episodes
Chris: I thought final 2 maybe?
Doug: I thought he would be final 4 but "my source" tells me otherwise. Hummmmm.....
Jef: she seems to like him so I think he will be around a while
John: who?
Kalon: producer placed jerk-they always stay around a while for the good of the show. He is HS drama fo yo momma!
Michael: Who?
Nate: he will be gone in 2 more episodes
Ryan: he was a top pick for me but the more he gets comfortable I'm not sure his word vomit will serve him in a good way. Also, my source tells me he is only around until episode 6, then gets booted off with Travis. We'll see....
Sean: slow start but will be around for a while, maybe final 4
Travis: I think he is slowly going to make his way through
I have heard who the final 3. Regardless of who says what, we really don't know for sure and I just enjoy watching the drama every week. I have a sneaking suspicion that the final guy standing will be Arie, it's just a feeling. Look how cute they are....

Well, it's that time again. I know you can hardly contain yourself and I'm right there with you!!! A lot of people have not so great things about Emily. I for one just adore her!!! I mean you just might get a tooth ache she's so sweet. She is the cutest southern charm girl. I really hope for her and her daughter she finds true love. With that said, I'm not naive...I'm pretty sure I will be left heartbroken yet again at the end of the season but a girl can dream right?
Without further adieu, here are my picks for her (so far):
- Ryan (pro sports trainer-SHOCKER he's on my list, right?)
- Arie (racecar driver-ADORABLE & seems so genuine)
- Nate (he just might be too quiet-I hope he opens up a bit)
- Chris (cheesy bobble head guy)
- Doug (sweet single Dad)
Def NOT on my list because I'm a little annoyed:
- Jackson (fitness model)-although he can take his shirt off again, HA!~
- Joe (over the top Jack Black look a like)
- Jef (skateboarder)
- Stevie (nerdy MC)
- Tony aka Prince Charming (the dude with the shoe-NO MA'AM!)
- Randy (grandma-odd)
- Kalon (helicoptor-he's just too much. From Houston-nice!)

Gymnastics MAYFEST 2012
Yesterday was Keegan's "show all" Mayfest at Gymnastics. I took a million pics but have not uploaded them yet so you are stuck with some of my phone pics. I'm so proud of my girl! She has just one more week of "nastics" before we take a summer break for swim lessons and Dance. Family, don't miss the video at the bottom "Keegan's Dance." Poor baby, she was feeling pretty awful at this point (bad allergies) but trying to put on a happy face. I love this sweet girl so much! She makes me one proud Mommy~
Keegan's Dance Video (click on the link). Sorry for the quality, I was laughing a lot so I'm shaking.

Weekend phone pics
My beautiful angel baby
Unlike her Mommy, she loves to see herself while we take pics..but it's so funny beacuse she tells me what to do. Like here she said, "kiss me a little bit mommy (she means on her cheek)."
this one was "ok kiss me a lot!"
"now smile little and sweet, not a big smile mommy."
Daddy and K playing catch. Look at that stance.
Yogurt time with mommy on girls day-we love girls day!
JUMP JUMP! Back yard fun.
We are lucky to have a hairdresser that lives next door! Very convenient I must say. K getting a little trim. She kind of freaked at first because she wants her hair long like Rapunzel. Hubby jokes about her getting a short bob so she was so worried about that. I could never cut off all of her hair, it's too beautiful!
Unlike her Mommy, she loves to see herself while we take pics..but it's so funny beacuse she tells me what to do. Like here she said, "kiss me a little bit mommy (she means on her cheek)."
this one was "ok kiss me a lot!"
